A few more doodle dumps, mostly fast and rubbish. Trying to do more full body studies, instead of portraits all the time.

A few more Gumroad tutorial drawings in there too.

Doodle dumps. Mainly portraits of Nazis with scarred faces.

Value portrait studies.
Working on skin textures and edges, also trying to incorporate some things I’ve learned from the Gumroad tuts.

Have been going a bit mental with all the recent Gumroad tutorials. Bought loads, and have been trying to paint along with as many of them as I can. Cheap, fun & educational.
You can find all the art related Gumroad tutorials on the Kiwi Juice page.

Some of the WWE caricatures I’ve been doing on Twitter.

Here’s an imgur folder containing the rest of them.

Thinking of maybe doing live caricatures during WWE’s Money in the Bank ppv this weekend, on Twitter.
I often do wee quick sketches like this when I’m watching WWE, or any films or TV, but I usually just scrap them when done. Don’t really consider myself a ‘caricature artist’ it’s just something for fun.

For Noah Bradley’s Art Camp 2.

Continuing with my studies for Noah’s Art Camp 2, (falling way behind already) master study drawings of John Singer Sargent paintings.

Abstract shape drawings. One part of the first assignment for Noah Bradley’s Art Camp 2.
This is a difficult and humbling exercise. The temptation to rage quit is high. Will have to do a few more of these before I can consider this part of the assignment passed.
These are drawings based on Anders Zorn (my master study subject for this week) portraits, turned black and white, cropped and flipped upside down.

First update in a while. Have been super busy working on stuff I can’t yet share.

Here are some quick character concepts from a new project I’m working on.

Along the shore the cloud waves break,
The twin suns sink behind the lake,
The shadows lengthen
In Carcosa.

Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.

Songs that the Hyades shall sing,
Where flap the tatters of the King,
Must die unheard in
Dim Carcosa.

Song of my soul, my voice is dead,
Die thou, unsung, as tears unshed
Shall dry and die in
Lost Carcosa.
